Kajabi Pricing in 2026: Every Plan Compared
Written by people who pay for this software · Pricing and offer terms checked August 2026 · Destination links auto-checked 21 August 2026
We pay for Kajabi's Basic plan every month, so this breakdown starts from the invoice rather than the marketing page: what each of the four plans actually unlocks, the two costs that never appear on the pricing page, and the three ways we know of to pay less than list.
Kajabi does not compete on price and has never pretended to. It bundles a course platform, an email marketing tool, a landing-page and funnel builder, a community, a checkout and an app into one subscription, and prices it as though you were buying all of those. Whether that is expensive depends entirely on how many of those tools you are already paying for.
The four Kajabi plans
| Plan | Monthly | Annual (per mo) | You save yearly | Products | Contacts | Admin users |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Kickstarter | $89 | $71 | $216 | 1 | 250 | 1 |
| Basic | $179 | $143 | $432 | 5 | 2,500 | 2 |
| Growth | $249 | $199 | $600 | 50 | 25,000 | 11 |
| Pro | $499 | $399 | $1,200 | Unlimited | 100,000 | 25 |
Shared across every paid plan: unlimited landing pages, unlimited funnels, unlimited marketing emails, 0% revenue share, communities (free on all plans since September 2025), the native coaching product type, Kajabi Checkout and Kajabi AI.
What you are actually buying at each tier
Kickstarter — $89/month
One product, 250 contacts, one admin, and no custom domain. That last restriction is the one to notice: your sales pages live on a Kajabi subdomain, which is fine for a first experiment and awkward for a business you intend to keep. Treat Kickstarter as a way to hold one offer, not as a discount version of Basic.
Basic — $179/month (the plan the $99 deal covers)
Five products, 2,500 contacts, two admin users, custom domain, and everything in the shared feature list above. This is where most independent creators and small teams live. Five "products" goes further than it sounds because a product can be a course, a coaching programme, a membership, a podcast or a downloadable — a typical business fills two or three of those slots and leaves room for a lead magnet.
The three-months-for-$99 partner offer applies to this plan. It is the difference between paying $537 and $99 for your first quarter, so if Basic is where you were heading anyway, that is the route in.
Growth — $249/month
Fifty products, 25,000 contacts and 11 admin users, plus the features that matter once other people are involved: advanced automations, the ability to remove Kajabi branding, and the affiliate programme tools so your own affiliates can sell for you. The step up from Basic is usually forced by the contact cap rather than by a feature.
Pro — $499/month
Unlimited products, 100,000 contacts, 25 admins, three separate websites, custom code editing, API access and the branded mobile app. Pro is for businesses running multiple brands or an in-house team; if you are wondering whether you need it, you do not.
The two costs that are not on the pricing page
1. Payment processing
Kajabi Payments charges roughly 2.9% + 30¢ per transaction, which is ordinary card processing and carries no platform fee from Kajabi. If you would rather connect your own Stripe account, Kajabi applies a surcharge on top: 2% on Basic, 1% on Growth, 0.5% on Pro. On Basic, that is $200 for every $10,000 you process — more than the monthly subscription. Unless you have a specific reason to keep Stripe direct, Kajabi Payments is the cheaper choice on the lower tiers.
2. The contact ceiling
Contacts, not products, decide when your bill goes up. Basic's 2,500 sounds generous until you run one successful lead magnet. When you cross it the next stop is Growth at $249, a $70-a-month step. If you are already sitting on a list of 5,000 people, price your decision at Growth from the beginning rather than budgeting for Basic and being moved.
Three legitimate ways to pay less
- Take the $99 partner offer for your first three months. Basic at list price is $537 a quarter; the offer makes it $99, which is roughly $33 a month. It replaces the free trial rather than stacking with it, and renews at $179 unless you cancel. Terms verified August 2026 — confirm at checkout.
- Switch to annual once you are committed. Annual billing takes Basic from $179 to about $143 a month, saving $432 a year. Do it after you have decided to stay, not before — an annual commitment is a worse mistake than a monthly one.
- Buy the tier you need, not the tier you might need. Growth exists for lists above 2,500 and teams above two people. Everything else in it can wait until one of those is true.
What the first year actually costs on Basic: $99 for the first three months plus nine months at $179 comes to $1,710. Twelve months at list price is $2,148. The offer saves $438 and does not commit you to anything beyond the first quarter.
Is Kajabi expensive?
Compared with a standalone course host, yes — noticeably. Compared with the stack it replaces, usually not. A typical creator setup involves a course platform, an email service priced per subscriber, a landing-page builder, a checkout or cart tool, and increasingly a separate community app. Kajabi's single bill covers all five, takes 0% of your revenue, and keeps your buyer data in one place rather than synced across four tools by a paid connector.
The honest failure case is the person paying $179 a month to host one $47 course that sells twice a month. That is a $94-revenue business carrying a $179 platform, and no feature list fixes it. If that is you, our Kajabi alternatives page covers the cheaper and free options without pretending they are the same product.
Kajabi pricing vs the other $99 deals on this site
| Platform | Plan on offer | List price | Three months at list | You pay | Saving |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Kajabi | Basic | $179/mo | $537 | $99 | $438 |
| ClickFunnels | Scale | $197/mo | $591 | $99 | $492 |
| Membership.io | Grow | $119/mo | $357 | $99 | $258 |
Same price, three different jobs. Kajabi is the all-in-one for knowledge products, ClickFunnels is conversion machinery, and Membership.io is a membership platform with unusually good content search. Buying two of them at once is a common and expensive mistake.
Frequently asked questions
How much does Kajabi cost in 2026?
Four plans: Kickstarter at $89 a month, Basic at $179, Growth at $249 and Pro at $499. Paying annually drops those to roughly $71, $143, $199 and $399 per month respectively. Every paid plan includes unlimited landing pages, funnels and marketing emails, with 0% revenue share on what you sell.
What is the cheapest way to get Kajabi?
Two routes, and they solve different problems. The partner offer of three months of Basic for one $99 payment is the cheapest way to get real access to the platform right now — about $33 a month. Annual billing on Basic is the cheapest way to run it long term at roughly $143 a month, saving $432 over a year of monthly billing.
Does Kajabi take a percentage of sales?
No revenue share on paid plans. You still pay card processing: Kajabi Payments charges roughly 2.9% + 30 cents per transaction with no platform fee on top. If you connect your own Stripe account instead, Kajabi adds a surcharge of 2% on Basic, 1% on Growth and 0.5% on Pro.
Is the Kickstarter plan good enough to start on?
Rarely. It caps you at one product and 250 contacts and does not include a custom domain, which means your business runs on a Kajabi subdomain. It works as a place to park a single offer, but most people outgrow it within weeks and pay migration time they could have avoided.
What happens when I hit the contact limit?
Contacts are the cap that bites first. Basic includes 2,500 and Growth jumps to 25,000, so the practical path is Basic until your list gets serious and then Growth at $249. Pruning cold subscribers before an upgrade is legitimate and often buys months.
Can I switch plans or cancel later?
Yes, plans can be changed at any time and there is no contract or cancellation fee. If you paid annually and downgrade mid-term, expect the change to apply at renewal rather than as a refund — check the current terms with Kajabi support before committing to a year.
